An eclectic group of letters received by Walter J. Sheridan from family and friends. They contain many interesting ancedotes about life in the armed forces as well as civilian life on the homefront. The letters written by Mark Connor, a military police officer at a U.S. Marine Corps post near Davis, Rhode Island, contain many fine details of life on base.
